Surf’s Up! New Equator Coffee Bar at Proof Lab Surf Shop

We are excited to announce that our very first coffee bar is opening soon at Proof Lab Surf Shop in Mill Valley! Proof Lab is the Bay Area’s largest surf & skate shop. Located at Tam Junction in Mill Valley, their mission is to build an alternative retail model: one that is interactive, sustainable and community oriented. Proof Lab specializes in skateboarding, surfing, surf art, and music. Their retail offerings include everything you need for surfing and skateboarding, from high end gear to clothing and safety equipment. Equator Takes 1st Place at the 2013 Roaster’s Choice Competition!

We are pleased to announce that Equator Coffees & Teas has been awarded first place in this year's Roaster's Choice Competition! Sponsored by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the Roasters Guild, the competition is designed to highlight the art and craft of specialty coffee roasting. The competition took place in April 2013 during the 25th Annual SCAA Exposition, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. There, our coffee earned the top score, as determined by an expert panel of judges, and was named the winner of the 2013 Roasters Choice competition.
