This is the second year in a row we are offering coffee from Cenfrocafe, a co-op made up of members who live and farm in Peru’s Cajamarca growing region. Founded in 1999, Cenfrocafe (formally the Central Fronteriza del Norte de Cafetaleros) is a large association made up of 84 community based farmer groups and more than 2,000 individual members. Cenfrocafe provides assistance to its members in the form of workshops on topics as diverse as quality control and youth leadership. Grown high in the Andes Mountains in northern Peru, this coffee is double certified, both Fair Trade and organic.

Cupping Notes

Creamy, with flavors of sweet chocolate, cashew and butter. Soft notes of tangerine and tangy lemon balance and round the cup.
