Introducing Equator Fort Mason Center

We are very happy to announce that our third San Francisco café at the Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FCMAC) campus is opening Thursday, July 20th!

The FMCAC Gatehouse, at the entry to the repurposed former military facility, has been converted into a lively café with a portion of the adjacent parking lot transformed into a pedestrian plaza. We can’t wait to share a cup of coffee with the community around us. To celebrate the opening of this wonderful cafe we will be offering free coffee beverages all day Thursday, July 20th, with a champagne toast at 4:00 PM.

Like every Equator café, this one is unique from our others. Conveniently located next to the Bay Trail, the café will be a hub for cyclists, runners, and pedestrians enjoying the city’s waterfront.

Designed in partnership with Boor Bridges Architects (BBDA), this café now serves as an integral component of a redesigned entrance to the 13-acre historic arts campus at Fort Mason. The space is clean and modern and reflects the industrial character of the campus. As a part of the renewed entry, Equator and FMCAC will partner in creating a more pedestrian and bicycle friendly gateway to its campus.

We invite you to stop in, grab a coffee and see the space for yourself. We’re grateful to be surrounded by such a supportive community and look forward to seeing you soon.
