Excellence at Origin
Our Women Producers
We’re proud to work with women at the cutting edge of specialty coffee production across three continents. This Women's History Month, explore our curated collection of excellent women-produced coffees from Sumatra to El Salvador.
Our Seasonal Blend
Snow Leopard
We partnered with Las Rosas, a group of women coffee farmers in Colombia, to source a component of this blend, and 5% of all sales go directly to their microcredit loan program that empowers members of the group to take on leadership positions and gain financial independence through quality coffee production.
5% of sales from the Snow Leopard Blend coffee & merchandise collection directly benefit the Las Rosas Women’s Group's microcredit loan program.
All-Women's Cooperative in Rwanda
Nyampinga Cooperative
Nyampinga is an all-women’s cooperative located in Southern Rwanda near the country’s border with Burundi. Many of our customers have come to know the name Nyampinga, which the members of this cooperative have selected for their group. It has a nuanced translation in Rwanda’s native Kinyarwanda language that alludes to the coming of age of a young woman who is proud, beautiful, and respected in her community.
We are pleased to offer a coffee from the Nyampinga cooperative for the ninth year in a row!
El Salvador Finca Kilimanjaro
Aida Batlle
Finca Kilimanjaro is owned and operated by Aida Batlle, a fifth-generation coffee farmer who has gained a great deal of respect within the coffee industry over the years.
For this lot, Aida used the honey processing method, and we are delighted by the result.
