Why We Love This Coffee

Peru Chirinos is a seasonal single origin favorite from La Prosperidad de Chirinos: a coffee grower’s cooperative located in northern Peru’s San Ignacio province, within the Cajamarca growing region. The group aims to improve the quality of life for its members through education, sustainability initiatives, and food security programs, as well as the diversification of their lands.

Mocha Java is a certified classic synonymous with fruit-forward flavors of dark chocolate, almonds, and berry-like fruit. This medium roast coffee is dark enough to stand up to milk, but not so dark as to hide the inherent flavor qualities of the blend’s component coffees.

French Roast is our darkest roast and features a high grown, fully-washed coffee from Latin America as its foundation. The goal with this French Roast blend is to develop delicate smoky nuances while retaining sweetness and fruit-toned chocolate flavors.

Regenerative agriculture—a practice of holistic farming where everything is seen as interconnected and vital—can build resilience to mitigate the effects of climate change and protect the future of coffee and our planet. Regenerative Organic Certified® (ROC®) was established in 2017 to promote holistic agriculture practices in an all-encompassing certification that champions three pillars: Soil Health & Land Management, Animal Welfare, and Farmer & Worker Fairness. Two of the coffee blends in this set—French Roast Blend and Regenerative Organic Blend—are Regenerative Organic Certified®.
