Collaboration coffees that give back.
The Chefs Collection
We partner with award-winning chefs to craft incredible coffees for great causes. Uniquely designed with input from each chef, each coffee supports communities the chefs are passionate about.
Chef Tanya Holland
We’re incredibly proud to partner with award-winning Chef, Author, and Restaurateur Tanya Holland to release California Soul Blend. Acclaimed for her inventive take on modern soul food, as well as comfort classics, Chef Tanya Holland is the Executive Chef & Owner of the internationally renowned and beloved Brown Sugar Kitchen restaurant. She has authored three award-winning cookbooks, most recently Tanya Holland's California Soul: Recipes from a Culinary Journey West.
$1 from every 12oz bag of California Soul, and $2 from every 2lb bag, is donated directly to Mandela Partners to fund programs that build community power through food.
Chefs Mary Sue & Susan
Iconic culinary duo Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken are best known for their Modern Mexican concept, Border Grill restaurants, food trucks, and catering, which they've run together for more than 35 years, and Socalo, their new California canteen in Santa Monica. We partnered with Mary Sue and Susan on our latest single-origin coffee, grown by members of the Las Rosas Women's Coffee Project in La Plata, Colombia.
For each bag sold, we donate $1 to the Los Angeles LGBT Center and $1 to Regarding Her (RE:Her).
Chef Brandon Jew
Michelin-starred chef Brandon Jew is the owner and executive chef of Mister Jiu’s, a contemporary Chinese American restaurant in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Winner of the 2022 prestigious James Beard Foundation for best chef in California and best restaurant cookbook for Mister Jiu's, Brandon combines local, seasonal, and organic ingredients with classic Chinese flavors and cooking techniques.
Brandon’s also a big fan of coffee and supporting his community. We partnered to create a single-origin coffee named Double Happiness to benefit one of his favorite organizations—Cut Fruit Collective—in support of AAPI communities throughout the SF Bay Area.
Chef Dominique Crenn
Three-star Chef Dominique Crenn is a culinary trailblazer and force to be reckoned with. Inspired by her, our Atelier Crenn Blend & Boutique Crenn Espresso coffees nourish the soul and contribute to the well-being of others.
We're proud to support Lyric, a San Francisco-based organization that builds community and inspire positive social change with LGBTQQ+ youth, with a donation from each sale.
Chef Thomas Keller
Chef Thomas Keller is the only American chef awarded simultaneous three-star Michelin ratings for two different restaurants, as well as the first American male chef to be designated a Chevalier of The French Legion of Honor. The French Laundry, in Napa Valley, and Per Se, in New York, are two of his paradigm shifting restaurants, among others.
Chef Thomas Keller's Equator coffees support the Ment'or BKB Foundation, a nonprofit foundation that aims to educate and inspire excellence in young culinary professionals and champions the diversity and creativity of the traditions and quality of cuisine in America.
Chef Tyler Florence
Food Network star, James Beard nominee and one of America’s brightest culinary voices, our collaboration with Tyler Florence goes all in on exciting and unique flavor profiles. Crafted in partnership with Chef Tyler Florence, a donation from the sale of each bag sold goes to organizations close to his heart, such as Alice Waters' Edible Schoolyard Project which helps to provide free, sustainable school lunch for all students K-12.
