Origin Story

Multiple producers (Ethiopia)
Multiple producers (Kenya)
Las Rosas Women's Group (Colombia)

The All-Rounder Blend by Chef Chris Cosentino combines coffees from 3 popular countries of origin, and showcases 2 classic processing methods; washed and natural process.

We started with a washed process coffee from Kenya. In this processing method coffee fruit is depulped from the seed before fermentation and drying. This results in a crisp acidity and clarity of flavor. To this base we add another washed coffee, from Colombia’s Huila region. This women produced coffee contributes chocolaty and nutty characteristics. Finally, a natural processed coffee from Ethiopia’s Guji region. In the natural processing method the coffee seed is fermented and dried with its fruit intact, resulting in fruitier flavors and a fuller body.

Why We Love This Coffee

Chris Cosentino is a celebrated chef, author, cyclist, and philanthropist who has built a career around creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to push boundaries in the kitchen. That same spirit inspired the creation of his All-Rounder Blend by Chef Chris Cosentino, a coffee designed with versatility in mind. Whether brewed as espresso or enjoyed as a pour-over, this blend is crafted to deliver a rich and complex cup that fits seamlessly into any routine.

“Coffee is a very personal thing not only regarding the flavor & roast style but also the method of preparation,” says Chris Cosentino. “It is part of a morning ritual for people everyday. When creating the All-Rounder Blend, it was important to offer this flavor profile across many different brewing methods. I like an espresso in the morning but others prefer drip or a pour-over. Some like to have their coffee while camping in an AeroPress; this blend gives the guest the option to have the coffee in their preferred style with all the flavor they are hoping for. A true All-Rounder works well in all applications.”
