Equator connects global coffee farming communities with coffee lovers. The journey from seed to cup is long, and we believe every step should be equitable, sustainable, and beneficial for all involved.

Our relationships in the coffee community are long-standing partnerships that allow us to source distinctive coffees directly from producers who are committed to excellence, sustainability, and responsible farming.

Why We Love This Coffee

Equator Blend is our most beloved and most consumed product. Its components come from Sumatra, Kenya and Colombia--three of the world’s best known growing regions. It’s a delightful blend with depth of flavor that pairs well with milk but also tastes great on its own.

French Roast Fair Trade Organic is our darkest roast and features a high grown, fully-washed coffee from Latin America as its foundation. The goal with this French Roast blend is to develop delicate smoky nuances while retaining sweetness and fruit-toned chocolate flavors.

Sumatra Queen Ketiara is is a long-time single-origin favorite at Equator with a flavor profile that is clean and balanced, with flavors of aromatic wood, dark fruit, spices and fresh tobacco. We've been sourcing coffee from cooperatives in the Gayo Highlands for many years and in 2015 solidified a direct purchasing relationship with Ketiara, a cooperative that produces great tasting coffee that transcends the stereotypical earthy character Sumatra coffees are known for.
