Cherry Blossom is a limited time offer, seasonal espresso blend built around a fully washed coffee from Ethiopia. The coffee was produced on Suke Quto, a farm owned and operated by Ato Tesfaye Bekele, one of the people that helped to put the Guji region on the specialty coffee map. Its delicate floral attributes and tropical fruit notes create the foundation for this espresso’s uniquely complex flavor profile.

The majority of Cherry Blossom is made up of coffees feature distinct, fruit-forward flavor profiles, so to add depth and body we included a fully washed coffee from Colombia that was produced by the Las Rosas Women’s Group. This coffee’s deep-toned chocolatey flavors help bring the more assertive flavors of the blend’s other components into balance.

A quartet of exotic coffees finish the blend, and although they make up a relatively small percentage of the espresso, their impact on its flavor is apparent. Two of the coffees are from Costa Rica, one is a fully-washed Gesha and the other is a natural processed SL28. The other two coffees are from the famed Finca El Injerto in Guatemala. The first is another SL28 variety coffee that was processed using the washed method, and the other is a natural processed Ethiopia Landrace variety. Together these coffees contribute a level of complexity that is truly unique and rare in an espresso blend.
