About the Producer
La Marquesa is a family operation run by Ximena León and her son Hubert Ontaneda in Ecuador's Vilcabamba valley. Their goal is to create distinctive cup profiles that reflect each variety's unique qualities and the character of the farm. We source this coffee through Kilometro Cero, an Ecuadorian exporter founded by Gaby Correa, who also founded Ecuador's chapter of the International Women's Coffee Alliance.
