Origin Story

Region: West Haraz
Producer:

Mokhtar

Variety: Daw’iri
Altitude: 6,390 feet
Milling: Anaerobic Natural
Sourced from Al-Khanshali Coffee Estates in Yemen's West Haraz region, this anaerobic natural light roast is fruity and spicy with notes of sangria, watermelon candy, and clove. After harvesting, the cherries were fermented in an oxygen-free environment for six days before being dried on raised beds. Yemen's port was the first to export coffee, and Yemeni coffees are celebrated for their distinctive baking spice and dried fruit notes with a wine-like acidity. Al-Khanshali Estates' meticulous processing elevates these classic characteristics to remarkable complexity.
