About the Producer

For the past 25 years, Fausto Romo has been cultivating coffee in Nanegalito, northwest of Quito, near the Alambi Fog Forest Reserve. Inspired by his uncle, he transitioned from dairy farming to specialty coffee and has focused much of his work on the Sidra variety. The reserve's cool, misty climate helps shape the character of the coffee, while Fausto continues to refine his cultivation, drying, and fermentation practices in pursuit of exceptional quality.
