The Fellow Aiden is quickly changing the perception of what a "drip" coffee machine is capable of. With built-in brew guidance, scheduling capabilities, and temperature-insulated carafe, this new-age coffee machine is charting a new course with a both delicious and automated home coffee experience.
If you already own an Aiden, you may have noticed that you can save your own favorite recipes as pre-sets to make your morning coffee experience a bit more consistent and tailored to the characteristics of your favorite coffees.

Pro Tips
- When you can, always try to grind your coffee fresh! Pre-ground coffee loses its flavor quickly, especially when ground fine. Grinding your coffee fresh from home will ensure you're brewing coffee with peak flavor retention. Here at Equator Coffees, our home coffee grinder of choice is the Fellow Opus.
- Pre-rinse your paper filter before putting it in the brew basket. Brewing with a dry filter can sometimes pass a "papery" taste on to the coffee itself: a negative addition the final flavor of your cup.
- Level your coffee in the basket before starting the brew cycle. This helps to ensure that the coffee grounds are all equally soaked during brewing.
- If you are scaling up your batch sizes—like for our large batch recipe—increase the time between pulses on the Aiden to reduce agitation in the brew basket.
