This set showcases three of our most popular coffees with both Fair Trade and USDA Organic Certification.

Experience a range of roast levels and flavors from these three beloved Fair Trade Organic ("FTO") coffees: the bold flavors of our French Roast Blend, to the smooth best-seller Mocha Java Blend, and lastly the fruit-forward character of single origin favorite Nicaragua Las Hermanas Regenerative Organic Certified®.

Origin Story

Equator connects global coffee farming communities with coffee lovers. The journey from seed to cup is long, and we believe every step should be equitable, sustainable, and beneficial for all involved.

Our relationships in the coffee community are long-standing partnerships that allow us to source distinctive coffees directly from producers who are committed to excellence, sustainability, and responsible farming.

Why We Love This Coffee

Produced by the women farmers of the SOPPEXCCA co-op, Las Hermanas ("The Sisters") is a smooth and straightforward single origin coffee from Nicaragua that we are proud to feature in this set. This Regenerative Organic Certified™ (ROC™) coffee toutes flavors of asian pear, malt, and pecan.

Mocha Java is a classic blend known for its fruit-forward flavors. In our version, two Ethiopian coffees combine with a third coffee from Sumatra to create a complex and smooth blend with just the right amount of fruit presence. This delicious coffee is also certified organic and Fair Trade Certified, which shows our commitment to doing right by the earth and our growing partners.

French Roast is our darkest roast and features a high grown, fully-washed coffee from Latin America as its foundation. The goal with this French Roast blend is to develop delicate smoky nuances while retaining sweetness and fruit-toned chocolate flavors.

Good Coffee, Better Planet

Regenerative agriculture—a practice of holistic farming where everything is seen as interconnected and vital—can build resilience to mitigate the effects of climate change and protect the future of coffee and our planet. ROC™ was established in 2017 to promote holistic agriculture practices in an all-encompassing certification that champions three pillars: Soil Health & Land Management, Animal Welfare, and Farmer & Worker Fairness.

In Fall of 2023, the "Las Hermanas" coffee of the SOPPEXCCA Cooperative in Jinotega, Nicaragua became our third coffee producer partner to become Regenerative Organic Certified®, included in this Fair Trade Organic coffee set. We are excited to bring you this coffee from the forefront of the regenerative revolution!

We treasure our relationships in the global coffee community and invest in projects at origin to
support our partners in their commitment to environmental sustainability and social welfare. We also invest in reducing our day-to-day impact, through initiatives like energy-efficient Loring Smart Roasters to reduce carbon emissions per batch by 80%.

As a certified B Corporation, we are a leader in sustainable practices that impact people and the planet. This third-party certification requires us to demonstrate transparency and accountability throughout our supply chain and quantify the impact our business creates for our employees, the community, and the environment. We are proud to be part of this community working together toward one unifying goal: using business as a force for good.
