Fair Trade & Organic from Sumatra

Queen Ketiara

After working in coffee for many years, Ramah helped found Ketiara in 2009 with just 38 members and currently serves as the co-op’s chairperson — now expanded to nearly 2,000 smallholder farmers, over 50% of them being women.

The coffee Equator purchases is exclusively from the women members of the co-op; they refer to this special selection as Queen Ketiara.

Women-led from Honduras

Honduras COMUCAP

COMUCAP (Asociación Coordinadora de Mujeres Campesinas de La Paz) is a women’s cooperative located in southwestern Honduras, in the Marcala growing region. The association collectively owns over 100 hectares of farmland, as well as a wet mill, drying patios, and cupping and roasting rooms. Thanks to the success of the association, many of the members have been able to purchase their own land where they cultivate additional coffee and other crops.

Enjoy sweet and balanced flavors as you sip this single-origin Fair Trade & Organic coffee.
