Fair Trade & Organic from Sumatra
After working in coffee for many years, Ramah helped found Ketiara in 2009 with just 38 members and currently serves as the co-op’s chairperson — now expanded to nearly 2,000 smallholder farmers, over 50% of them being women.
The coffee Equator purchases is exclusively from the women members of the co-op; they refer to this special selection as Queen Ketiara.

Ethiopia Hada Molecha
Sourced from Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe growing region, this vibrant single origin coffee came to us by way of Catalyst Coffee: a women-led importer dedicated to innovation and traceability in Ethiopian coffee.
Catalyst Coffee's values of sustainability, traceability, and innovation drive them in every facet of their business, adding value to the coffee of the producers that they work with which results in higher incomes and quality of life.
