What do you do for work?
I help source ingredients for a wide range of companies, from working on the perfect chardonnay all the way to a COVID-19 vaccine/therapeutic.
What was your first job?
Working at NASA in the Risk Management Division as an intern in high school.
How did you get into running?
A friend in middle school convinced me to run track and field instead of basketball, and I never looked back! I kept meeting really fun runners, and they kept on convincing me to run further and further! Funny how I went from 400m to 50 miles, and now training for a 100k.
What’s your coffee drink of choice?
Soy dirty Chai.
What is the best thing in or about your home?
The views from our balcony that overlook downtown San Francisco.

What has been the most rewarding project of your career?
Mentoring! I’ve helped over 20 people transition from post-doctoral programs into their first industry jobs, and also onto their second and third jobs within their careers.
When are you the happiest?
In a hammock, post-run with a cup of Equator coffee and donut.
Where is one place in the world you would love to visit next?
South Africa.
How do you relax?
Meditation, yoga, and Netflix.
