Featuring coffees from some of the world’s best known and most beloved producing countries, Prime Meridian Blend is designed to be a smooth and satisfying medium roast.
The Prime Meridian Blend unites three fully washed coffees, each chosen for its unique character and contribution to the cup. The foundation of the blend comes from Testi Coffee, a family-owned company with deep roots at origin and a strong commitment to sourcing high-quality beans for the specialty market. This lot was processed at the Aricha washing station in Ethiopia’s renowned Yirgacheffe region. Grown at high elevations and handled with care, it contributes delicate fruit notes and refined clarity.
Next, we added a fully washed Pacamara coffee from Apaneca, El Salvador. Pacamara is a cross between the large-beaned Maragogype and the compact Pacas, a selection of the heirloom Bourbon variety. This cultivar produces small trees with impressively large beans known for exceptional cup quality. This lot offers delicate sweetness and a polished flavor profile that enhances the blend’s creamy mouthfeel and balance.
Rounding out the blend is a fully washed coffee from Tanzania, produced by members of Pilikano AMCOS, a cooperative of 420 smallholder farmers in the Mbinga District of the Ruvuma Region. Together, these three coffees create a blend that is balanced, sweet, and approachable—perfect for any time of day.

Why We Love This Coffee
Prime Meridian Blend is designed to be smooth and satisfying. Originally, the blend was developed in collaboration with a Bay Area technology company for serving in their offices. One of their employees suggested the name “Prime Meridian” as a whimsical play on Equator’s name.
